Multiple members of the Centre, together with other members of the University of Edinburgh, have participated in the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2026), the flagship conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, which happened in Vienna, Austria

The highlights of the Centre’s contributions include the presentation of the RA-L article on distributional treatment of Real2Sim2Real for object-centric agent adaptation in vision-driven DLO manipulation, a conference paper on ROOM: a physics-based continuum robot simulator for photorealistic medical datasets generation, and the co-organisation of the workshop on learning and representations for active perception in manipulation.
