Lecturer in Computational Cognitive Science and a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow
Benjamin Peters is a Lecturer in Computational Cognitive Science and a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. He is also a Honorary Lecturer at the School of Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow.

Benjamin studies the computational processes underpinning real-world visual cognition in artificial systems and human brains. His research is at the intersection of Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, and Artificial Intelligence (NeuroAI) and combines task development, experimentation (behavioural, eye-tracking, M/EEG, fMRI), and brain-computational modelling.
