Mohan Sridharan (Collaborator)
Professor in Robot Systems, School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh
Mohan’s research interests include knowledge representation and reasoning, cognitive systems, machine learning, and control systems, particularly as applied to adaptive mobile robots and agents collaborating with humans in diverse domains. He develops algorithms and architectures that enable robots to represent, reason, and act based on varying descriptions of commonsense domain knowledge and uncertainty; learn interactively and cumulatively from multiple sensor inputs; and describe their decisions, beliefs, and experiences to demonstrate that their behaviour meets specified properties. He is also interested in creating algorithms to tackle reasoning and learning challenges in non-robotics application domains.
